Jesper Lykkesfeldt

Founder, Attorney-at-Law

Jesper Lykkesfeldt is the founder of LYKKESFELDT and brings over 20 years of professional experience in the life science industry.

Before founding LYKKESFELDT, Jesper worked as Head of Legal, Global R&D and Corporate Strategy at Genmab where he oversaw all legal aspects of the company’s global research and development, business development and licensing, alliance management, mergers and acquisitions (including the USD 1.8 billion acquisition of ProfoundBio in 2024), and global dispute resolution. He led two international teams totaling 17 legal professionals, was a member of the global leadership and Denmark site leadership teams, and served as a standing member of Genmab’s Business Development Committee – the decision-making body for all strategic deals.

At Genmab, Jesper played a central role in drafting and negotiating some of Genmab’s largest partnership agreements, with total deal values reaching several billion US dollars. He also had the opportunity to follow the lifecycle of these partnerships and contracts, providing ongoing legal and strategic support.

Jesper is an attorney-at-law (“advokat”), admitted to the Danish bar. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Copenhagen, as well as B.A. degrees in both Law and Comparative Literature. Earlier in his career, Jesper worked as external legal counsel at leading law firms in Copenhagen, advising prominent international pharma and biotech clients and gaining extensive experience in patent litigation.

In addition to his professional work, Jesper serves as chairman of the board of directors for Holms Mindelegat, a foundation that supports research and other activities related to cancer and infirm children.
